Building Materials Retail
Retail supply of high-quality building materials for construction sites and renovation projects of every scale.

ATB Service GmbH — Berlin
Construction and facility services across ten coordinated trades — and flexible packaging materials for food producers. Two distinct businesses, one accountable company in Berlin.
How We're Organised
Each division has its own team, its own suppliers and its own delivery rhythm. Both answer to the same single point of contact — which is the whole reason clients consolidate work with us.
Division 01 — Construction & Facility
The full breadth of modern construction and facility needs, carefully coordinated so your project never stalls waiting on the next trade.

Retail supply of high-quality building materials for construction sites and renovation projects of every scale.

Retail of construction machinery and equipment, matching the right tools to the right job.

Retail of photovoltaic systems and components for the transition to renewable energy (connection work excluded).

Professional execution of soundproofing and drywall construction for clean, quiet interiors.

Assembly and disassembly of stands for trade fairs, exhibitions and events, delivered on schedule.

Careful laying of cable infrastructure for construction and renovation projects (connection work excluded).

Reliable transport of goods with vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, for materials, equipment and site logistics.

Personnel intermediation that connects skilled workers with the projects that need them.

Interior and exterior facade works that protect buildings and elevate their appearance.

Thorough cleaning services for construction sites, commercial spaces and events.
Division 02 — Food Packaging
We supply barrier and non-barrier films for thermoforming, flow-pack, skin and shrink applications. The film is never chosen from a catalogue — it is chosen for the machine that runs it, the product inside, and the shelf life it has to hold.
Shelf life is decided by a layer thinner than a human hair. In a multilayer structure the barrier does the preservation work, the sealant makes the pack closed, and the outer layer carries the print and takes the abuse of handling. Change one layer and you change the whole pack.
Materials
Each family solves a different problem on the line. Most producers run three or four of them.
Bottom webs for rigid trays on thermoforming lines, for modified atmosphere and vacuum packs.
High-formability bottom webs for deep-drawn packs that stay tough at the corners, where rigid film would crack.
Sealing layers matched to the bottom web — peelable or welded, printed or clear, easy-open where the shelf calls for it.
Films that draw down tight onto the product itself, holding shape and colour with no loose headspace.
Barrier and non-barrier films for horizontal and vertical form-fill-seal machines running at full line speed.
Films that shrink onto the product for a close, glossy pack that shows the product rather than hiding it.
Shrink bottom and top webs that combine deep-draw forming with post-seal shrink on a single line.
Paper-based barrier structures for producers moving away from all-plastic packs without giving up shelf life.
Thin separator films laid between sliced portions, so slices lift apart cleanly after chilling instead of tearing.
Processes
What the pack goes through after it leaves the machine decides the structure it needs. A film that survives freezing will not survive a retort.
Air replaced with a protective gas mix, so colour, taste and nutritional value hold without added preservatives.
Air drawn out and the pack sealed, cutting the product off from oxygen, airborne bacteria and mould.
Films rated for heat treatment at around 100 °C, where shelf life has to be extended inside the pack.
Structures that hold their seal through retort processing at up to roughly 121 °C.
Heat-stable films the end customer can cook in, without the pack deforming during cooking.
Films that stay flexible and seal-tight through shock freezing and long frozen storage.
Rigid and flexible bottom webs formed in-line, for modified atmosphere, vacuum and skin packs.
Form-fill-seal films for high-throughput horizontal and vertical machines.
Applications
Every product on this list needs a different structure. Cheese breathes; fish does not forgive oxygen; sliced meats need to come apart in the customer's hand.
Beyond the material
A review of the films and processes already running on your line, with recommendations where a different structure would cut cost, waste or downtime. Sometimes the answer is that your current film is right — we will say so.
Longitudinal and cross-cutting of roll stock down to the widths your machines actually run, so you are not paying to store reels that need converting before they can be used.
Send us the machine, the product and the shelf life you need to hit. We come back with the material structures that fit — and say plainly where none of them do.
About Us
ATB Service GmbH is a trading and services company headquartered in Berlin. We operate two divisions: construction and facility services across ten complementary trades, and the supply of flexible packaging materials to food producers.
Bringing this range together under one company removes the friction of coordinating multiple suppliers and contractors. Clients get a single, accountable point of contact from first enquiry through to delivery — whether the order is a pallet of plasterboard or a run of barrier film.

Why ATB Service
Two divisions under one roof means fewer handoffs, fewer delays, and one team that takes responsibility for the outcome.
One company, one contract, one team accountable for materials, labour and logistics.
Materials, equipment, staffing and site works are planned together, not in isolation.
A locally rooted GmbH, officially registered at Amtsgericht Charlottenburg under HRB 287502 B.
On the packaging side we ask what machine you run before we quote. A film that does not fit your line is not a saving.
Our own transport capacity keeps materials and equipment moving to schedule.
Straightforward quotes, honest timelines, and a team that's easy to reach in English or German.
